Prayers.

Proceedings against Lilborne, &c.

THE Question being propounded, That Lieutenant Colonel Lilborne, Mr. William Walwyn, Mr. Thomas Prince, and Mr. Overton, be restrained as close Prisoners, apart one from the other, within several Lodgings, in the Tower;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put;

It was Resolved, &c. That Lieutenant Colonel Lilborne, Mr. William Walwyn, Mr. Thomas Prince, and Mr. Overton, be restrained as close Prisoners, apart one from the other, within several Lodgings in the Tower.

The Question being propounded, That Lieutenant Colonel Lilborne, Mr. William Walwyn, Mr. Thomas Prince, and Mr. Overton, shall have Maintenance allowed them by the State during their close Imprisonment;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

The House was divided.

Dean and Chapters Lands.

Ordered, That Mr. Allen do give notice, to the Trustees for Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands, of the Vote of this House, of the Three-and-Twentieth of April, touching Nicolas Martyn Esquire to be of Council in the Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands.

Delinquents Fines.

Ordered, That the Cases of the Delinquents, appointed to be taken into Consideration this Day, touching the Mitigation in their Fines; and likewise the Cases of William Bassett, of Claverton in the County of Somersett, Esquire, and Sir Richard Leveson; be taken into Consideration on This-day-sevennight: And, in the mean time, no Advantage shall be taken of their not paying in their Arrears, according to the late Act.

Ordered, That the Cases of the Earl of Chesterfeild, * Hull, of Tolpidele in the County of Dorsett, Gentleman, and Sir George Wentworth, touching the Mitigation of their Fines, be taken into Consideration on This-day-sevennight: And, in the mean time, no Advantage shall be taken of their not paying in their Arrears, according to the late Act.

Ordered, That the Case of Sir Ralph Sidenham, touching the Mitigation of his Fine, be taken into Consideration on This-day-sevennight: And, in the mean time, no Advantage shall be taken for Non-payment in of his Arrears, according to the late Act.

Deans and Chapters Lands.

Ordered, That the Council of State hereby are authorized to dispose of the Three hundred thousand Pounds, raised and to be raised by virtue of an Act of this present Parliament, for the Sale of Deans and Chapters Lands, in such manner, and in such Proportions, as may best carry on the publick Safety of the Commonwealth, and the Service of Ireland: And that Thomas Noell, Stephen Estwick, and William Hobson, Treasurers appointed by the said Act, shall be, and hereby are, authorized to pay the said Sum of Three hundred thousand Pounds, or such Part or Parts thereof as shall come to their Hands, unto such Person or Persons as the said Council of State, by Warrant under the Seal of the said Council, shall appoint: And that then the Receipt of the said Person or Persons, so authorized to receive the same, shall be a good and sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurers: And that the Trustees be required to send Copies of the said Act to the Sheriffs of the several Counties: And that they be required to publish the same accordingly; and to return an Account of their Doings therein to the Trustees.

Treason.

Ordered, That the Debate, upon the Amendments reported to the Act touching Treasons, be taken up on Monday Morning.

Army Pay, &c.

Commissary General Ireton reports Amendments to an Act for the more certain and constant Supply of the Soldiery with Pay, and the Preventing of any further Oppression or Damage to the People, by Free Quarter and Billet: Which Amendments were twice read; and, upon the Question, assented unto: And also,

Amendments to Orders and Resolutions of Parliament, concerning the Disposal of the present Forces; and Rules concerning Quartering: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

And the said Act, and Orders, and Resolutions, so amended, being put to the Question, passed: And

Ordered, That the same be forthwith printed and published.
